I've been fascinated on and off over the years with the idea of a slightly older Conan, when the wars are all won and he has achieved peace and plenty, and a Kingdom of his own. I always imagined he'd be bored by that. I imagined he'd thrive on chaos and the rules restrictions of governing a kingdom would weigh heavily on him. Hence the look of utter boredom in this pic. XD

I've always been bored with the one dimensional aspects of the sword swinging warrior hero... Have sword will travel type of thing... This brings a whole new aspect to the "after the swinging is done" part of the story. I can almost hear him saying, "I took on the entire <insert nation here> army single handed, and you are bringing me Crop yield reports?!?
Love it, very well executed.
