There is no postwork to the figures in the promotional ads.
Note the names of the pose files e.g. V4MirrorLHBrushRH means Load the smart-propped Mirror to the left hand and the Brush to the right hand; V4MirrorRH01 means just load the smart-propped Mirror to the right hand (don't load the other mirror).
If Left Hand Mirror pose affects the Right Hand Mirror for example, just reapply the Right Hand pose. Poser sometimes does that but it is easily corrected. If you are applying a Right Hand Pose after a Left Hand Pose and the Left Hand Mirror jumps to the Right Hand, just reapply the Left Hand Pose.
Note that the pose files do not contain x or z hip trans information. Also, they contain pose information for the props.
Hand poses won't affect the hand itself - just the fingers so your hand pose still stays nicely intact. Hand poses also do not contain Tassel pose information but they will pose your Mirror/Brush to fit the hand pose information it contains.
Expected Pose intersection is deliberate for greater realism.
Best rendered with Raytracing on.
You can use the props in Poser 5. You can use the poses in Poser 5 too. However, if you use Poser 5, you are probably using V4.0 or V4.1 - the poses will still work. The hand poses will also work but you have to ignore the error message. It is preferable to use V4.2.
