HDRIs (high dynamic range images) are composite images made from low, mid, and high luminance images. The HDRIs in this package contain seperate channels for Red, Green, and Blue. Rather than one channel for all three. This provides a much greater depth of color than standard jpg images.

*Brighter images on the IDL Studio sphere increase indirect lighting, and can rely less on scene lights, while darker images applied to the IDL Studio sphere decrease the indirect lighting, and will rely more heavily on scene lights.

The IBL lights included in this package are not intended to be a complete lighting solution. They are intended for use as supplemental Image Based Lights for your pre-existing scenes. Adjustment of IBL intensity may be required based on additional light sources in your scene.
