"Remember, remember, the Fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot... But what of the man? I know his name was Guy Fawkes and I know, in 1605, he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament. But who was he really? What was he like? We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world. I've witnessed first hand the power of ideas, I've seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them... but you cannot kiss an idea, cannot touch it, or hold it... ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love... And it is not an idea that I miss, it is a man... A man that made me remember the Fifth of November. A man that I will never forget." ( Evey Hammond V for Vendetta).

Inspired by the movie " V for Vendetta", "Guido and the Vengeance" contains my interpretations of both Guy Fawkes (Guido) and V (Vengeance). Whereas in the graphic novel and the Film V hid his scarred face behind the mask ,Vengeance is a custom morph that allows a full range of expressions to be applied. In the film a series of masks were actually used to portray subtle expressions, Vengeance isn't that subtle!

Something about the man !

Guy Fawkes (13 April 1570 – 31 January 1606), also known as Guido Fawkes, the name he adopted while fighting for the Spanish in the Low Countries, belonged to a group of provincial English Catholics who planned the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605. Fawkes was born and educated in York. His father died when Fawkes was eight years old, after which his mother married a recusant Catholic. Fawkes later converted to Catholicism and left for the continent, where he fought in the Eighty Years' War on the side of Catholic Spain against Protestant Dutch reformers.

Enough History!

I have tried to give Guido a slight Italian look ,to fit his name and sculpted him based on surviving pictures of Guy Fawkes.

As V said

"There is a face beneath this mask but it's not me. I'm no more that face than I am the muscles beneath it or the bones beneath them. "

Features:

Guido and the Vengence comprises of a set of custom head and body morphs based loosely on the V mask from the Graphic Novel and Film of "V for Vendetta" and historical depictions of Guy (Guido) Fawkes.

This Vendetta character is not meant to be an exact representation of the V Mask but rather to capture the essence of the character in a more useable way rather than a straight mask prop.
