After loading Mushroom and Cookie, apply a pose.
Turn off IK, and parent Cookie Body to Mushroom.

Now mushroom can be moved anywhere in a scene, Cookie will follow. And if you want another pose, all you need is to click on desired pose in library. It will change and stay on Mushroom.
