History:

Founded by award winning 3D artist Syyd Raven, RDNA began as a two person team in late November of 2001. Syyd and fellow artist Colm Jackson then partnered with Eric Van Dycke a.k.a. "Traveler", and boldly broke away from the original Poser community to become a fully functioning independent community and marketplace. The little “engine that could”, managed to position itself between two industry giants, and remains firmly ensconced in the top three sites in our industry today.

Hi Im Syyd, Owner of Runtime DNA. I started in Bryce in 1999 and quickly started using Poser with Bryce. Started talking to Colm in a chat room at Renderosity, and Eric when I posted in the forums! I am Runtime DNA's chief cook and bottle washer. Every concept that comes into play is something I dream in technicolor, then I wake up, tap Eric's shoulder, and we make it a reality. This site, what it represents to me both personally and professionally, is my llife's work. I absolutely believe in the essence of what we've created. I am also a pretty good human texture artist and renderer of portraits. When I'm not working you can find me in the garden. I never tire of planting, pruning, and enjoying the outdoors. I enjoy running and working out, just started a new thing called "slack lining" which is a real challenge. I am a huge fan of british televsion, and Breaking Bad, I have two siamese cats, and a yorkshire terrier.

Eric VanDycke AKA "Traveler" started with Runtime DNA in 2002. He is a partner and an Overall Administrator in charge of Advertising and Web Site Management. His 3D roots stretch all the way back to Bryce and the early days of Poser. Eric has been involved with numerous releases of Poser and other software packages used by the community. He has his eyes set on a re-emergence into product creation with some exciting new product lines.

As a founder of RDNA I started like many of my generation experimenting in Bryce. Back in 1999 I used to hang out on the original Poser forum which is where I met Syyd and Traveler. Poser has been part of my life now for almost 16 years. I started out as a modeler, went into morphing for a few years but my main love is lighting. This most likely comes from being a professional photographer for more years than I care to remember. I am very proud that many of my products are thought of as some of the most innovative in Poser and also some of the most successful. My main job at RDNA is the Quality Assurance manager. I work daily with a fantastic team of testers who have given RDNA the reputation of being the best beta and alpha testers in the whole of Poserdom. I live on the east coast of Ireland just about 15 miles south of Dublin. Alongside my 3D work I also work on my 'Iconic Ireland' collection of photographs. I am also an ex-professional musician playing guitar, bass and keyboards.

I was born in Ireland but spent a lot of my life based in England but did work in Germany, HongKong and Thailand. I married an Australian and we decided to move here when our careers were over because it is a lot warmer here. Now we live on 3 acres, with koalas and kangaroos just outside the door but civilization is catching up - we have street lights and white lines down the centre of the roads now but no buses. Two small elderly dogs keep us on our toes and I manage not to scream too loudly at the spiders (in the house) and the snakes (outside the house). I am awake when most of you are asleep but it does mean that there is always someone around to help

I am 65 years young and am retired from working at Walmart. I started in3d using Bryce back in 1999, from there I got into Poser. I have been with Runtime DNA since the beginning. I started as a tester in or around 2008 and became the chief Tester for Colm, then Assistant Manager in testing. I handle the Alpha testers and help Colm in the QA testing area. I love working at RDNA it is like a family to me.

My name is Debbie Gorecke but most of you know me as Redmysticangel. I started using Daz Studio and Paint Shop Pro back in 2005 and I recently took the plunge into Poser as well with PP2014.  As the QA team lead here at RDNA, my hobby takes on a whole new level and I enjoy every minute of it. It's a pleasure to know you all and I thank you for everything you have taught me through the years.

Though you might be more familiar with "secretheart" than Anna Benjamin, we are one in the same. I landed at RDNA sometime early in 2002 while beginning to explore the depths of Poser. I participated in the (early stages) of the Aldara Project and many of the other forums before I released my first product here in February of 2004. I am "the girl with the crayons". I love color, and "texture" and the tiny details that go into really well made things that you might not notice at first glance, but are the things that make a piece truly special. When I'm not coloring, I am working behind the scenes with Syyd as her sounding board, supplier of flower seeds, and number one cheerleader. I am responsible for rebuilding and relaunching DNA's "Pinterest" boards, and I worked to help Syyd and Eric rebuild the store for the launch.  I live in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI with my husband, our two boys and a very mellow English Springer Spaniel named Luna.

Greetings! My name is Mary Williams, known more commonly online as "Nightsong," and I hail from the sunny environs of the northern California wine country.  Something about living in such a picturesque locale has seeped into my bones, for I have loved art of all kinds (particularly costuming) since I was very young.  My heart, however, lays in telling a story.   In my eyes, every piece of artwork out there has a tale to tell, from paintings to cosplay to game design.  When I'm not sharing my own stories one of the things I love to do most is helping others find the hidden fables, myths, and epic sagas they want to tell with their own art -- whatever style of art that may be! My role here at RuntimeDNA is that of a promotional artist and forum moderator: I get to make pretty pictures all day, create my own products for the store, field art-related questions, and also help to create some of the advertisements for other vendors that can be seen throughout the site. I was instrumental in helping Syyd get the site prepared for the upgrade, she had me working day and night on polishing and shining this beautiful new store.  The best part of this is that I work with an amazingly talented team of folks on a wide variety of projects, and get the chance to continually learn and do so many new things! Who can ask for a better job than that?

My arrival on this planet coincided with the 1965 New York Blackout. I started drawing when I was about three or four years old. I remember painting a Viking ship being attacked by the Midgard Serpent about that time, and following it with giant spaceships flown by talking dinosaurs. I spent a good deal of my youthful artistic efforts in mastering the creation of starships, fantastic alien worlds, and alien beings. From about the fourth grade on, I wrote and drew one-off comic books, my other vice. In several years at several different universities, I studied art, architecture, technical theatre, costume and makeup, digital imagery, and 3D animation. I joined RDNA in November of 2001, shortly after the doors opened. A few weeks later Syyd invited me to host the Art Talk forum, and I've been a part of the site ever since. I live outside of Houston, Texas, with my wife of 24 years, two daughters, five cats, and a growing collection of swords. I work in the technology industry and make my art as part of that job every now and then.
